Trust Fund

“We are not afraid of moving slowly… but afraid of standing still.”

Overview

The Dinthill Technical Trust Fund principal goal is the establishment of an inviolate fund, the income from which is used to assist the school in various areas. We believe that the funds legacy will positively impact the lives of may generations of students and faculty and urge more supporters to contribute to the fund.

After careful examination of the culture of the past the Trust Fund now seeks to come up with innovative ways of increasing the core objectives and increase the funding of the Trust. The Trust Fund over the past three (3) to five (5) years now stands at approximately 6.5 million. It’s the aim of the Trust fund to double or triple this amount to (10) or (15) million.

No school will adequately have all the resources needed to meet the demands of the institution. As such, a vibrant effective and organized Alumni is necessary to meet the various needs of the institution.

Management

The establishment of the Alumni secretariat at the school with a full time secretary with the hope of increasing the Funds membership, greater value of communication and contributions. Establishing banking accounts at Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) Constant spring Branch Acc#. 49596 and CBIC First Caribbean New Kingston Branch Acc#. 113013316 to increase the reach of members who wishes to make contributions to the Fund.

An increase in registration of the graduants spanning the era of 2015 – present new members are directly targeted to enhance the database. An implementation of direct deposit to the Trust Fund of J$2000 from each member annually.
