The 1979 and 1981 DaCosta cup football champion Dinthill Technical High School is creating tremendous buzz in Jamaican schoolboy football once again as they continue their steady march in the DaCosta cup campaign. Dinthill now dubbed the ‘Giant Killers’ completed their march to the Dacosta cup finals after edging Manchester High (2-1) in their semi-final clash to set up another thrilling encounter with the defending champions St. Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), who is seeking its fifth hold on the title.
The talismanic striker Rodave Murray ensured that his team would feature in the 2015 ISSA/Flow DaCosta Cup finals. Murray, prolific throughout the season was no surprise with his performance as he slotted home 27 goals to top off the season.
The team boosting in confidence should be a good tender for the coveted ISSA/Flow Dacosta Cup title. The Dinthill lineup is pretty remarkable and will require positive team work to get the job done.
